Mental Health Matters

Mental Health Matters

The Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee vows to ready each of our members for a bright future, and we know that mental health plays a vital role in this mission. Mental Health Matters (MHM) is a new, multi-faceted initiative launched by BGCMT. The project is our way of approaching adolescent mental health from many angles in order to approach this growing crisis on both the individual as well as community levels. Our goals are to improve access to mental health resources, knowledge, and support for everyone within our communities and to increase the frequency of mental health-focused conversations that happen within and adjacent to our Clubs.

The portion of MHM that you have access to through this portal is a collection of pertinent websites, videos, apps, and other digital media. We curated these lists with the help of a group of volunteers from Vanderbilt. The resources you will find by clicking the buttons below were chosen to answer specific questions and fill knowledge gaps identified by BGCMT communities during our first round of surveys conducted in the fall of 2022.
