Join Club Blue as they Dash to a Great Future to benefit the more than 4,300 youth who walk through the doors of a Middle Tennessee Boys & Girls Club each year. Supporters who participate will compete in a month-long, peer-to-peer fundraising campaign to raise essential funds to help youth learn about the world around them, live a healthy lifestyle, and become leaders among their peers and in the community.

How Does It Work?
Dash to a Great Future is a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign that benefits BGCMT. It kicks off on Wednesday, August 28 and concludes the week of September 23. Fundraisers, also known as "Club members," will raise funds while competing for prizes and working towards "graduation" ($1,000+ raised).
Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Concept
Dash to a Great Future is a peer-to-peer fundraiser, which means you will leverage your friends and family to help you graduate. However, you will not be alone! Closer to the fundraising kickoff, you will be provided with a playbook that provides you with social media content, photos, statistics, and sample appeals to help make the process of fundraising a breeze.
Throughout the campaign, you will have opportunities to earn 'scholarships,' i.e. dollars that go toward your fundraising total. Earning a scholarship will bring you one step closer to graduation and being our top fundraiser! Scholarships are made possible by our generous donors.
This campaign kicks off at one of our Davidson County Clubs on Wednesday, August 28! You'll attend a Back2School Bash where you will meet some of the youth you are raising money to support and have an opportunity to play games with them. You’ll also have a chance to win ‘scholarships’ which will increase your total dollars raised and your chance of being the top fundraiser. This will be a great time to take photos to use throughout the campaign, meet the other fundraisers, and have a great time in one of our Clubs!
The campaign culminates in a ‘graduation party,’ which is a time to recognize and celebrate our fundraisers, announce our graduates (i.e. those who raise at least $1,000), and thank supporters. We will also award prizes to our top fundraisers.
The party will be hosted during the evening the week of September 23. (Final date and location to be announced soon!)
Rising Through the Ranks
When youth enter our doors, they are placed in an affinity group based on their age. These groups eat snack together, play together, attend programming together, and so much more! Much like our Club members advance in the Club ranks, you will too! For every $200 you raise, you will move up an affinity group:
(5-6 year olds)
Raise $199.99 or less
(7-8 year olds)
(9-10 year olds)
(11-12 year olds)
(13-18 year olds)
(18+ year olds)
Raise $1,000 or more
You'll be recognized with your affinity group during our graduation party, and, if you graduate, you will be a part of our special graduation ceremony! (There will be cake!)

What is Club Blue?
Club Blue is a philanthropic community comprised of young professionals (ages 21-40) that live or work in Middle Tennessee. Our vision is, “To build a thriving philanthropic community that is committed to long-term investment in the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee and the lives of young people.”
Club Blue members give at least $25 per month; this monthly fee covers the annual membership fee for one youth and helps BGCMT honor its commitment that no child or family is ever turned away because of their inability to pay.
Do I have to be a Club Blue member to participate in Dash to a Great Future?
No; you do not have to be a Club Blue member to participate in Dash to a Great Future. In fact, we welcome the participation of any community member or BGCMT supporter. If you have a passion for youth and helping build Great Futures, we want you to fundraise with us!
