How many times have you heard those words in recent months? It’s all most people are talking about right now. But for many Boys & Girls Club members and their families, normal is not good enough.
Because normal often means not knowing when you’ll eat your next meal.
Normal is not having the support or supplies to keep up in school.
Normal means critical life opportunities, like college, connections and career experiences, may be out of reach.
This is not a ‘normal’ any child should experience, let alone return to. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, we believe that–together–our community can ensure all young people, especially those who need us most, reach their full potential.
With your support, we will give youth and families the meals, supplies, school support and programs necessary to start the school year — and give young people a future that is far better than normal.
